About the event

‘Breaking Bread’ was a set of two pop up supper clubs at the award winning Today Bread Bakery in Walthamstow, London on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th April.

As always, the evenings included three fabulous courses, made from surplus food, devised on the night by our fabulous chefs. Unsurprisingly, there was lots of some sourdough involved!

Our events are unique - not only do we create incredible dishes with food that would have otherwise gone to waste, we also ensure that for every paying guest, one ticket is given to a person who would benefit from a night out - for free.

We work through charities and organisations supporting people who are socially isolated for many reasons.
