83 Dalston Lane, London (map)

Summer starts here! Let’s enjoy the thought of long, sunny days, warm evenings, fresh food, and spending more time outside.

About the event

83 Dalston Lane is cosy and confortable with a bo-ho bistro vibe seating just 18 people. Dinner is 3 courses plus drinks for £25. We invite 15 guests for free. They are refered by local organisations and charities who support clients who find themselves socailly isolated. We save 3 tickets for you to buy. Your presence contributes to the evening so much, helping to promote a greater understanding and knowledge across the different layers of our community. Its also a fun evening out with terrific food. All our chefs are professional and the food and service and what you’d expect from any good neighbourhood restaurant.

The menu is creatively devised on the night by Andi, our head chef, using mostly surplus food kindly donated by City Harvest. The food is always within its used-by date and would otherwise be thrown away.

Kind words from our previous guests

"I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an incredible array of food."
"H lives in a hotel with no access to cooking facilities - he hasn’t eated so well for more than a year."
"This is like being at a huge dinner party! The flavours in every dish are so incredible."

“I had a wonderful evening at Mike’s Table. I must admit I was a little bit nervous and excited about going. I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, everyone was so welcoming and put us at ease. People shared feeling and experiences with one another. It was such a special and heart-warming evening that I will never forget.”
