12.30 - 3.30pm

Culpeper Community Garden, 1 Cloudesley Road, London, N1 0EJ (map)

Come along and enjoy a relaxed August afternoon of a community picnic, games, arts and crafts in the lush surroundings of the vibrant Culpeper Community Garden in Angel.

About the event

For this special Sunday afternoon event, we’re hosting a communal homemade picnic along with games and arts and crafts activities. The event is held at Culpeper Community garden - a vibrant, welcoming space in the heart of Angel. Tickets are £5 and the picnic is includes housemade cakes, sandwiches, nibbles, tea, and soft drinks.

There will be games, arts and crafts activities including watercolour painting, and a chance to walk around and enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna of Culpeper.

For this event, we’re inviting 24 guests for free. They are referred by local organisations and charities who support clients who find themselves socially isolated. We’re saving 6 tickets for you to buy. Your presence significantly contributes to the event, helping to promote a greater understanding and knowledge across the different layers of our community. It’s also a joyful afternoon out with terrific food. All our chefs are professional, and the food and service and what you’d expect from any good neighbourhood restaurant.

The menu is creatively devised on the day by Andi, our head chef, using surplus organic produce kindly donated by our generous partner Wholegood. The food is always within its used-by date and would otherwise be thrown away.
