Are Mike’s Table events available around the UK? We get asked this a lot but as we are a volunteer-led, London-based non-profit, it’s difficult.
However, we have come up with a great alternative and it’s called with Our Table.
With Our Table we are able to support others (you!) to host an inclusive supper club in the style of Mike’s Table at a venue near you. Our Table is like an informal and free franchise - we provide structure, branding, resources and experience, so you can confidently run your own event. We’ll be with you every step of the way.
Who are ‘you’?
You may have attended or volunteered at a Mike’s Table evening and feel inspired to do the same.
You may know a community of people near you who would benefit from a wonderful evening of dining together.
You may know, or even own, an amazing venue that would be perfect.
You may be a professional chef or front of house who is looking for an opportunity to give back to the community.
You may be an amazing and generous person.

Read about how a Derbyshire based Mike’s Table volunteer chef brought Glossopdale School and InCommon together to create a memorable and hugely enjoyable lunch, planned and cooked by teenage pupils who then sat and ate with their guests, some in their nineties, invited from a nearby retirement scheme. The experience was incredibly rich, positive and happy for everyone and there are plans for a repeat performance.
The Our Table Toolkit
To get you started we have produced a detailed Toolkit. The first pages give you a general overview of what to expect so you can decide if this is for you. Then we have a detailed timeline for you to follow, mapping each stage and aspect of the event planning. We have also included a useful resources section including a budget planner and notes for volunteers.
